Description:
Experienced engineer needed for the analysis and characterization of RF transceivers modules between 1 and 37 GHz (3.2GHz-3.6GHz, 4.8GHz-5.0GHz, 24.25GHz - 27.5GHz, 27.5GHz-29.5GHz). Experience using microwave CAD tools and microwave test equipment including network and spectrum analyzers and thorough understanding of microwave theory and design techniques a must. Typical designs include high-frequency substrates employing microstrip/stripline circuits with MMIC amplifiers, attenuators, circulators, switches, mixers, hybrids, power splitters, etc. Knowledge of GSM 11.10, ETSI GSM specifications and EDGE terminal products (per ETSI and 3GPP spec) desirable.
Experience/Education:
Individual shall have a minimum of Bachelor Degree with an advanced Degree a plus
Special Requirements:
Experience with Modelsim, VHDL, FPGAs is desired. Ability to debug hardware, work with logic analyzer, emulator is required. Experience with sensor integration, RF circuitry (to 5 Ghz), wireless applications, low power microprocessors, embedded systems. Six Sigma Green Belt or MAIC trained highly desirable.
